Housekeeping General Cleaner

Job Overview:

The Housekeeping/General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. This role ensures that all areas are neat, clean, and well-organized, contributing to a hygienic and pleasant environment for our tenants. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Cleaning:

  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.​

  • Dust and polish furniture such as pantry cabinets, fixtures, and fittings.

  • Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces. Wipe down windowsills and frames.

  • Sanitize restrooms such as bathtub, toilet bowl and vanity sink.

  • Clean and disinfect kitchen areas, including appliances and surfaces.

• Deep Cleaning:

  • Perform occasional deep-cleaning tasks such as cleaning of AC vent, windows and cleaning walls.​

  • Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a healthy environment.

  • Clean air vents, filters and dust registers to ensure proper air circulation.

• Stocking and Inventory:

  • Monitor cleaning supplies and report low stock to management.​

  • Restock supplies in assigned areas, cleaning liquid materials and appliances accessories,

• Maintenance Reporting:

  • Report any damage or need for repairs to management.​

  • Identify and communicate areas needing special attention.

• Safety and Hygiene:

  • Follow safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.​

  • Adhere to company policies for personal protective equipment (PPE) use.

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.

• Outdoor Cleaning Task:

  • Sweep, or blow off walkway, patios and driveway.​

  • Remove debris, leaves, and dirt from outdoor areas.

  • Pressure-wash sidewalks, decks, and exterior surfaces when required.

  • Clean the office, collect and properly dispose of outdoor trash and recycling materials.

  • Ensure trash receptacles are clean and organized

Basic Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper.

• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance

• Ability to notice small details and ensure cleanliness in every corner

• Ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks within a set schedule.

• Ability to handle standing, bending, lifting cleaning materials, and other physically demanding tasks

• Knowledge of how to handle chemicals safely, including proper usage, storage, and disposal.

• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple cleaning duties, and stay organized.

• Has a reliable transportation

• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

Job Type: Full time
Working Hours: 40 hours/week
Working Schedules: Mon- Fri (8:00AM to 5:00PM), weekend or holiday (If needed)
Work Location: Within Property premises like Summer Town Estates (Dededo), Summer Homes (Yigo/NCS), Summer Green (Tamuning), Summer Breeze (Radio Barrigada) and Summer Vista (Ukudu)
