Laborer - Guam Housing (Ace) - NBG

Summary/General Description of Job:
The incumbent is responsible for assisting skilled trade workers with daily tasks involving manual labor.
Essential Duties & Job Functions:

Assists skilled trade workers with daily tasks.
-
Cleans up litter and debris around all facilities.
-
Disposes refuse items in designated areas.
-
Moves supplies and materials to proper location using wheelbarrows, hand trucks or forklift.

Operates, washes, waxes, vacuums, and polishes vehicles.
-
Assists with moving heavy pieces of machinery and equipment as needed.
-
Picks up and delivers materials, tools and contract deliverables to agencies or worksites.

Assists skilled tradesman with moving hazardous materials.
-
Assists technicians in inspecting and collecting data from various sites.
-
Performs minor routine maintenance to equipment used in daily functions.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to work with a variety of hand tools and power tools.

Ability to read, speak, and write basic English.
-
Ability to pass a random DOT drug test if required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience & Professional Association):
Minimum
-
Possession of a driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
-
Ability to obtain to U.S. Government Installations through the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS).
Preferred
-
High School diploma or equivalent.
-
One (1) year of laborer experience.
