Project Superintendent

Job Summary:

The Project Superintendent position is responsible for supervising and overseeing the entire production being done, from planning to project implementation related to housing operations and change of occupancy maintenance service, by being present at the job site.

​

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

​

• Directs and supervises implementation of scheduled activities related to housing operation maintenance services and change of occupancy maintenance services and other related works.

• Conducts on-site coordination meetings with workers, subcontractors, and other related personnel.

• Manages and supervises all work performed on-site.

• Studies project plans, specifications, and other project-related data.

• Communicates with executive personnel, contractors, or design professionals to explore, discuss, and resolve any conflicts relating to the project, construction, or other similar matters.

• Collaborates with other engineers, subcontractors, and other respective personnel to determine project needs.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Has the ability to supervise, direct, lead manpower, and take lead on projects.

• Has the ability to perform technological duties such as using computers or other computer systems to perform data entering, creating purchasing orders, and more.

• Has the ability to analyze information and effectively differentiate the pros and cons especially when making decisions.

• Knowledge of data processing and electronic mail software: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, etc.

• Knowledge of raw materials, production, and other related processes.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Responsibilities:

​

The Project Superintendent position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or other similar field. Additionally, a Project Superintendent must have five to ten (5 to 10) years actual experience in supervising housing maintenance or construction of housing and barracks projects.

As Core Tech is a major participant in the military buildup related to the base realignment of American military forces in the Pacific, having any related experience in U.S. military construction projects with a minimum of ten (10) years as a Project manager can be considered.
