Operations Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking a strategic operations manager to lead daily business operations. This role involves
improving efficiency, coordinating resources, and overseeing fleet upkeep. The ideal candidate should be
a quick thinker with strong leadership and planning skills, a proven track record in operations, and the
ability to drive improvements and achieve results.
Responsibilities:
Scheduling and Resource Allocation: Set schedules for drivers and helpers, ensuring efficient allocation
of resources. Coordinate with the team to resolve any scheduling conflicts or changes that may arise.
Route Planning and Optimization: Plan and optimize waste collection routes to maximize efficiency,
reduce fuel consumption, and minimize travel time, taking into account traffic patterns and customer
schedule restrictions.
Client Relations and Contract Management: Prepare and send quotations to potential clients and oversee
contract signings, ensuring that all terms are clearly defined, understood, and agreed upon by both parties.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal regulations related to waste
management and ensure company compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines.
Fleet Management: Oversee the maintenance and scheduling of the company's fleet of collection vehicles,
ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
Coordinate with the maintenance team to address any mechanical issues and schedule regular inspections
and repairs.
Documentation: Prepare regular operational reports, including performance metrics, safety records, and
compliance documentation, for review by senior management.
Maintain accurate records of waste collection, customer interactions, and any operational incidents.
Qualifications:

Ability to communicate clearly and remotely coordinate tasks.

Willingness to work outside of regular hours, including evenings and weekends, to address urgent
issues and ensure operational continuity. -
Proficiency in software including Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, WhatsApp, Google Maps,
etc. is a plus.
Education and Experience:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is required. A major in business administration, operations
management, or a related field is preferred. -
Experience in operations management or a related role, with a proven track record of successful
operational leadership, is preferred.
